BCCI has invited applications for one vacant post in the men's national selection committee

The position has been lying vacant since February, and the board is looking to fill it with qualified candidates.

The eligibility criteria require candidates to have played a minimum of 7 Test matches or 30 First-Class matches or 10 One Day International matches and 20 First-Class matches.

Applicants must have retired from professional cricket at least 5 years prior to the application.

Candidates who have been members of any Cricket Committee for a total of 5 years are not eligible for the position.

The current members of the selection committee are Subroto Banerjee, Salil Ankola, Sridharan Sharath, and interim chairperson Shiv Sundar Das.

 The selected candidates will have responsibilities such as selecting the best team, planning for bench strength, attending meetings, and providing evaluation reports to the Apex Council of BCCI.
